  Happy 30th, Shernhall Pre-School!
Shernhall Pre-School has just celebrated its 30th birthday with a huge party attended by pupils and parents/carers past and present.  The guests of honour included: the Mayor, Councillor Liaquat Ali; founders Brian and Jean Nicholas; Karen Woolcott of the National Pre-School Learning Alliance and the school’s most senior and cherished supporter - Alma Butterworth.

Shernhall is a friendly and caring multi-cultural pre-school in the heart of Walthamstow.  It’s open for morning and afternoon sessions as well as a lunch-time club which means parents/carers can benefit from the flexibility of full day as well as half-day care.  The school takes children from age 2 until they are ready to go to school or school nursery.  It is Ofsted approved and accredited by the Pre-School Learning Alliance.

Shernhall Pre-school was established in 1977 as a not-for-profit community organisation that works in partnership with parents and carers who also form the management committee (although the school is run by professional nursery staff).

To apply for a place for your child, please contact Maria Mora on 020 8520 6756.  Shernhall Pre-school, St George’s Church Hall, 136 Shernhall St, Walthamstow. www.shernhallpreschool.co.uk
